Environmental Craft Beer Series

The objective of this project was to design three distinct beer labels with one unified brand identity for Quantum Brewery’s new Sour Ale series, with the goal to tell a story about protecting our environment.

I started with identifying the best stylistic approach for this series would be Cyberpunk as it’s described as a futuristic dystopian with a focus on machinery and technology.

This makes it the perfect contrast to the true message of this series.

The project focused on creating three distinct flavour labels—Plasmabud (Dragonfruit & Hibiscus), Neurovoid (Blackberry & Lavender), and Cryosynth (Juniper & Blueberry).

So that each flavour would stand on its own while staying consistent, I choose to feature each with its own unique character illustration and colour, while still sharing the same bold typography, and vibrant colour palettes.

This engaging lineup was designed to embody nothing of the original message. Its meant to be chosen off the shelf for looking “cool” and “futuristic”.

It is after that initial reaction that the viewer is meant to learn that this series is a warning. A warning of a world without nature.
